Braided and Two Texture Scarves

After conducting a survey among many of my (oh so kind) friends and family members, I received raving reviews about the braided and two texture scarves I was planning to make. Hooray! I also sold 7 to friends who were particularly taken by these lovely scarves so they seem to be a great success. Here are photographs of three of the original ones I made.

A Flurry of Activity!

There has been much activity in the last two weeks but I was unable to get online to update the progress as it was happening! So I'm going to be putting up a few posts with pictures of each of my lovely prototypes :) I'm still in the process of compiling my business plan for the I Heart Market but these last few weeks have shown me that my business can be successful through many different channels, putting less pressure on being accepted to the market. Other ideas in the pipeline include an online store and selling to local businesses in Grahamstown. Overall, feeling very positive about the way things are going! Pictures to follow...

Motivation

Recently I discovered that there is an opportunity for me to apply for a stall at a wonderful market called the I Heart Market. I did not think I could before knowing that I am at university most months of the year but apparently stall holders are not required to be at every market. So this has definitely given me the motivation to start a small collection of stock that I will photograph and submit to the market - crossing fingers that my application is successful! Before any of that though, I realise that I need to develop my brand to something more than just a name. Some time fiddling around on my pc and my first prototype for a brand design is made!
